Hi, Magdalena here π
Content writer, digital marketer and solo traveler, roaming the world with a laptop full time since 2020.
Ever since traveling became my passion, I realised that the traditional lifestyle that ties me to the same desk for 5 days a week, from 9-5 just wasn't for me. Only 25 days to explore the world while on vacation - at best twice a year? Sorry, but that's not enough, not in my world.
I wanted more time to travel. More time to explore the world, more time to try new things, more time to meet new people, more time to see how people pass their time in the different corners of our amazing planet. All of them!
I therefore chose to redesign my life to become location independent. It wasn't the easiest thing, as I was on this mission before the global pandemic (which suddenly gave pretty much the entire world the opportunity to work remotely), but I got there.
I now enjoy location independence and travel long term while continuing to work full time. In my longest travel stint, I traveled solo for over one year and circled the globe - all while getting a consistent pay check at the end of every month that actually enabled this whole endeavour in the first place.
Sounds like a dream? Well, it definitely was my dream - and I made it come true.
The best part? You can do that too.
How? If that's the question you're asking right now, you'll find answers here.

About me
I was born in Poland, bred in England and France, and now I'm actually all over the place, working to establish a new base in Portugal.
Things that float my boat more than others include:
- scuba diving,
- hiking,
- adventure travels,
- natural wonders and
- cultural hotspots.
These are the main things that shape my travels. I normally search for nature getaways, but if I go on a city break, you'll definitely find me hopping art galleries, restaurants and bars.
